Made to Worship…

I know, I know…most Christians who access this page are probably expecting to find out more about the Chris Tomlin song. And while I do like the lyrics of that song, I like the way the Bible puts it better…

“So, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” -1 Corinthians 10.31

Or, to put it in the form of a heart’s cry instead of a command…

“Be exalted, oh God, above the heavens. Let your glory be over all the earth.” -Psalm 57.11

This is our life verse. We are a family devoted to living for the glory, fame, and exaltation of our great God, the Creator of the heavens and the earth, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Being satisfied in Jesus, delighting in God, exalting Jesus Christ–all are synonymous with “worship” and all are the reason we exist.  However, because of our sin that has separated us from God, Jesus Christ came as a man to die on a Roman cross according to God’s plan to reunite us to our Father.  However, all are not automatically saved.  Instead, it is only those who put their faith and trust in Jesus as their treasure that find this forgiveness of sin.When this happens to a person, all of life is redeemed.  Times of both grave seriousness and lighthearted humor, and everything in between, are meant to be times of worship to the Creator of all things.  Therefore, our family, and consequently this website, are devoted to storing up things that can lead us to worship Jesus, the only source of life.
