Established in 1834, First Baptist Church has been faithfully proclaiming God’s Word, equipping the saints of God, and exalting Jesus Christ in Abbeville and the surrounding communities. On Sunday, May 17, 2009 the First Baptist church family is going to celebrate 175 years of building up the body of Christ in Henry County, AL. Everyone is invited, especially if you have ever attended FBC in the past. Disciple Now 2009 at FBC-Abbeville was wonderful! We had a great time that created some memories we will never forget! We had one student pray to receive Christ and will be baptized soon.
